Candle Care

Step 1: Trim the Wick

Subheading

Before each burn, trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) to prevent smoke and ensure a clean, even flame. This also helps your candle last longer.

Step 2: Let it Pool

Subheading

Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface during the first burn. This prevents tunneling and sets the memory for a smooth, even burn each time.

Step 3: Burn Responsibly

Subheading

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool before relighting. Always burn within sight and away from drafts, pets, and children.

Step 4: Snuff Don't Blow

Subheading

Extinguish your candle with a snuffer or lid to reduce smoke and preserve the scent. Avoid blowing it out, which can cause wax splatter.

Step 5: Reuse the Jar

Once your candle has ½ inch of wax left, it’s time to retire it. Clean the jar gently with warm water and repurpose it — as a planter, brush holder, or keepsake.
